Recently, FengQi Group held a thematic exchange with representatives of innovative enterprises in China’s life sciences sector, conducting in-depth discussions on topics including primary cells, new drug assessment (NAMs), organ-on-a-chip, internationalisation of health products, and industrial cooperation in the ASEAN life sciences industry.

本次交流聚焦生命科学产业国际化发展趋势，重点围绕如何依托马来西亚区位优势，推动中国生命科学技术面向东盟市场开展科研合作、产业转化和国际化布局进行了充分交流。

The exchange focused on the international development trend of the life sciences sector, with thorough dialogue on how to leverage Malaysia’s geographical advantages to advance scientific research cooperation, industrial commercialisation and international layout of Chinese life sciences technologies across ASEAN markets.

近年来，随着全球生命科学产业快速发展，原代细胞、新药评价（NAMs）、器官芯片、精准医学等前沿技术正逐步成为国际医药研发的重要方向。东盟市场特别是马来西亚，依托较完善的医疗体系、国际化科研环境及区域辐射能力，正在成为亚洲生命科学产业的重要增长点。

In recent years, amid the rapid growth of the global life sciences industry, cutting-edge technologies such as primary cells, new drug assessment (NAMs), organ-on-a-chip and precision medicine have gradually become core priorities for international pharmaceutical research and development. The ASEAN market, particularly Malaysia, with its well-established healthcare system, international research environment and regional outreach capacity, is emerging as a key growth engine for Asia’s life sciences industry.

交流中，双方重点探讨了以马来西亚为平台，共同推进生命科学产业国际合作的可行路径，包括科研合作平台建设、国际化技术服务、健康产品国际市场拓展、高校及医疗机构合作、东盟产业资源整合等多个方向。

During the exchange, both sides examined viable pathways to jointly promote international life sciences cooperation using Malaysia as a platform, covering multiple dimensions including the development of research cooperation platforms, international technical services, overseas market expansion of health products, collaboration with universities and medical institutions, and integration of ASEAN industrial resources.

丰麒集团认为，中国拥有大量具有国际竞争力的原创技术和创新成果，而东盟正处于生命科学、生物医药及健康产业快速发展的关键阶段。未来，真正具有国际竞争力的不仅是产品出口，更重要的是科研能力、技术体系、标准体系和产业平台的国际化输出。

Meanwhile, both sides exchanged views on the global market expansion of health products. For products complying with regulatory requirements for food and health supplements, preliminary discussions were held on Malaysian and ASEAN market access, product registration, compliance frameworks, channel development and brand internationalisation, laying the groundwork for future international market cooperation.
