As reported by Nanyang Siang Pau, Malaysia’s century-old Chinese-language financial media outlet, the 2026 ASEAN Business Summit hosted by the ASEAN Retail-Chains Franchise Federation (ARFF) was successfully concluded in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Centring on core themes including ASEAN digital transformation, AI-driven industrial upgrading, green economic development and cross-border business cooperation, the summit conducted in-depth discussions on consumer market evolution, retail industry innovation and hotel industry restructuring. It gathered government and business leaders, industry experts and cross-border enterprise representatives from various ASEAN countries to explore new opportunities for regional economic transformation and sustainable development.
丰麒集团深度参与本次峰会，集团董事局主席卢朋以东盟连锁企业联合会副会长兼中国代表处主席身份出席论坛并发表核心观点，深度解读大中华区与东盟经济的互补优势，剖析东盟年轻化人口红利、市场化发展潜力及跨境合作机遇，提出将东盟企业联合会从“平台连接者”升级为“落地推进者”，为出海企业提供全生命周期本地化服务，破解中国企业深耕东盟市场的发展痛点。
FengQi Group participated in the summit as a key enterprise guest. Dr. Lu Peng, Chairman of FengQi Group, and concurrently Vice President and Chairman of the China Representative Office of ARFF, delivered core speeches at the forum. He elaborated on the complementary economic advantages between Greater China and ASEAN regions, analysed the demographic dividend of ASEAN’s young population and its market development potential, and proposed upgrading ARFF’s role from a “platform connector” to a “project implementation promoter”. The initiative aims to provide full-life-cycle localised services for Chinese enterprises expanding into ASEAN markets and resolve their practical operational challenges.

During the summit, FengQi Group achieved remarkable award achievements by winning the ASEAN Business Connectivity Excellence of ASEAN- Malaysia MASTER CLASS AWARD. This honour fully recognises the Group’s outstanding strength and industrial influence in China–Malaysia cross-border industrial cooperation and regional resource integration. Furthermore, FengQi Group facilitated and promoted official signed cooperation agreements among four parties, namely ARFF, Nanyang Siang Pau, Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce and Shenzhen Industrial Park Association, with a formal Memorandum of Understanding signed. Leveraging respective resource advantages, the four parties will deepen collaboration in industrial coordination, park co-construction, market expansion, compliance services and enterprise landing support, building an efficient docking channel for Chinese enterprises to enter Malaysia and the broader ASEAN market.
