Fengqi Group has advanced key development milestones at the Kuantan Digital Halal Food Industrial Park (HALAL Industria Hub), its flagship cross-border industrial platform in Malaysia’s Pahang state.
The 730-acre park, situated adjacent to the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP) and approximately 10 kilometres from Kuantan Port, is designed to provide a comprehensive one-stop platform for businesses targeting the ASEAN, Middle East and global halal markets.
The project leverages Malaysia’s internationally recognised JAKIM halal certification system to help businesses access 80+ mutual recognition countries through a single certification framework — with Fengqi’s established processes compressing standard timelines from 30+ days to approximately 10–12 days.
Key logistical infrastructure includes direct connectivity to the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), proximity to a planned new international airport, and access to the Kuantan Port–Port Klang direct shipping network. This combination can reduce cross-border customs clearance from approximately 72 hours to 48 hours for participating tenants.
Through RCEP and the Malaysia-EU Free Trade Agreement, businesses operating from the park benefit from tariff rates of 0–5% across key export markets.
Fengqi serves as overall industrial planner, resource integrator and operational coordinator for the park — providing tenants with end-to-end support from certification and logistics through to international market channel development.
